Preparing for Your Patient Visit

Our clinic has procedures in place to ensure the safety and well-being of patients, staff and physician. We are continuing to ask patients to wear a mask for in-person visits during the fall and winter and during respiratory outbreaks. Our goal is to protect everyone, especially our more vulnerable patient population. Please see Office Visit Procedures for more information. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
As an alternative to in-person visits, Virtual Care via phone or doxy.me is available for a select group of patients. The doctor will determine whether an in-person office visit is required for all appointment bookings based on the type of care needed and the time between in-office visits. Many patients are choosing to book in-person visits as pandemic restrictions have eased.

As part of preventive care, it is important for you to ensure you are up-to-date with vaccinations against all preventable / communicable diseases, including Covid-19 vaccine boosters. We invite you to visit our Immunization section for a list of recommended vaccines for your age group.
After Hours Care
When our office is closed and a medical concern arises, patients may have questions about what to do. Here are some helpful links to help guide your decision-making:
-
For non-urgent concerns, call 8-1-1. Licensed nurses are available to help with your decision-making
-
For urgent concerns, contact your local Urgent Primary Care Centre - Burnaby, Metrotown
-
For emergent concerns, call 9-1-1 and go directly to your nearest hospital emergency ward
We are available to help during regular business hours.
How To Find A Family Doctor
We are not currently accepting new office-based patients. However, patients seeking a family doctor who reside in BC can register for a family doctor or nurse practitioner in their community through BC's Health Connect Registry. When you register, you are added to a centralized registry of primary care providers across your community.

Registration takes less than 10 minutes. You need to provide:

-
Personal Health Number (PHN), found on your BC Services Card or Driver's Licence
-
Home address
-
Email address and phone number
