Dr. Gregory McAnulty

Dr. McAnulty was raised in the sunny Okanagan valley and moved to Vancouver to attend UBC.  He has a long and varied academic background as a graduate of the UBC Biochemistry, Education and Medicine programs.  During his time at UBC, he briefly studied education, obtaining his teacher’s certificate before embarking on his career in medicine.   Dr. McAnulty interned at Lion's Gate Hospital prior to his UBC family practice residency.

On completion of his medical training, Dr. McAnulty did locums throughout BC. He was then recruited by a large medical organization in the US midwest to build a clinic in competition with regional Mayo. On successful completion of this, he returned to Burnaby to take over practice from two physicians.

His post-graduate studies include medical acupuncture from UCLA, courses in injectional techniques and other modalities of pain management.  He is the medical director at Normanna Rest Home and is committed to best practices in medicine as a longitudinal care family physician.

Dr. McAnulty enjoys outdoor activities such as running, hiking and skiing.  He loves exploring his own neighbourhood, travelling and spending time with his family.
